Message from the Principal
Since opening our doors in October 2012,we have welcomed hundreds of both local and expatriate students creating a; rich and exciting cultural mix of young people and start from different countries giving WSS a special international ambience anda home from home experience.
Quality, care and relevance are at the centre of our educational philosophy. The economic growth and development of the Emirate of Sharjah provides us with many exciting challenges and opportunities. Our main aim is to provide your child(ren) with the necessary values, skills and knowledge to enable them not simply to survive, but to excel in a stimulating and nurturing environment. All students will be encouraged, supported, and guided, so that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential and eventually leave our community with the confidence & skills relevant to our modern way of life.
The academic ethos will be both challenging and demanding, but also supportive and friendly. We aim to develop enquiring minds and encourage self-motivation. The link between school and home is crucial and student advancement is usually a result of a team effort involving the student, school and parents. To assist in this process, we are introducing a ‘Parental Engagement’ programme. Of course, reports and assessments will be provided at regular intervals and there will be ample opportunity for staff, students and parents to discuss progress.
GEMS Westminster School, Sharjah, isrooted in the local community .Our school ` Code of Contact` ensures that stakeholder, from support staff to parent will be respected for what she or he brings to the school. Our school will be a place where people work hard, achieve and become friends. We warmly invite you to grow with the school over the next few years from primary to secondary, from birth to maturity, all the while reinforcing and contributing to our core values, providing high academic standards and establishing the best traditions.

Principal
